I’m a Photographer and Photo Editor
I’ve always been about the image, as far back as I can remember. Before the camera, there was the crayon then there was the pencil, and so on. I once fancied myself as an artist replete with canvas and brush.
While attending school I witnessed a group of students, with trusted Nikons, shoot and develop their own images, right there on campus. Their work was impressive and at times stunning. The seed was planted and soon thereafter I was up and running with my own Nikon figuring out how to make and develop my own images.
Those were the messy days, before digital when chemicals and techniques like dodging and burning made the developed image. And don’t forget the water, lots and lots of running water. Today my darkroom is my computer and I feel most at home in my digital darkroom playing with images.
I haven’t quite grown up yet.
